I'm totally happy with the wall oven. It operates perfectly and looks great. I also purchased a Bosch microwave at the same time and I have an issue with it. I don't like the extra step of having to push the stop/clear button every time to open the microwave door. I'm almost 70 years old and I've never seen and I'm not a fan at all

I have a brand new HBL8454UC/02 that came with a new home. The oven claims to support both 208V and 240V electrical supply; I have 208V (on a 30A breaker, as demanded by the oven's spec).
The oven never preheats fully unless I intentionally overshoot my desired temperature via broil or a higher target temperature. As others have remarked, the oven unhelpfully only shows a unitless preheat progress bar, and mine gets stuck at one tick shy of fully heated. Even after an hour, it cannot reach 350F on conventional bake, whether or not I use the fast preheat mode.
I've had a Bosch technician out - twice! - to see the oven and they mentioned both times that the 203V reading they pulled during the visit was too low to allow the oven to work. Per their assessment, the oven is otherwise working as expected.
203V on a 208V spec is completely within the realm of normal, workable supply for home use. I believe certifications such as CSA and UL typically allow for a 5 or 10% deviation from the specified voltage (and the Bosch is CSA certified). Simply put, it's unreasonable for the oven to not operate correctly at an extremely mild (2.4%) undervolt.
Aside from the disappointment of the oven itself not working, Bosch support has not been helpful. They insist on having another service visit with no guidance as to how this one might end up rectifying my issue. Third time's the charm, right?
Steer clear of this oven if you have 208V service. You will have no recourse through Bosch support in the event that your oven doesn't work.
Aside from the whole not fully heating up thing, the oven is OK. It's a handsome unit, and the telescoping rack is convenient. The touch buttons are a bit finicky.

This stainless is so hard to keep clean. Finger prints show so bad, and then are hard to get off. I've owed many stainless appliances, and this is the hardest to get and keep clean. Wish the buttons to operate were at least easy to wipe down. I haven't cooked much in it so far like cookies, cakes, or bread, but to date cooks fine.

Love my Bosch oven. The different modes work fine. Chicken roast came out juicy. Air fry makes great French fries. The pizza mode works beautifully. Used to have a Fisher Paykel. Much prefer the Bosch .

On the front of the manual, it reads "Bosch, Invented For Life". I know that because I've been looking at the manual to plan for our replacement oven. We bought our Bosch oven in 2021 during a full kitchen remodel. It worked beautifully until earlier last year (2025) when I preheated the oven to 500 to bake bread, it tripped the circuit and that was the beginning of the end. An assessment by a Bosch certified repair person said it was the circuit board. It's out of warranty at this point but I pleaded with Bosch to send me the $1000 replacement part at a discount which they did mail at 50% cost. Again, I paid a repair company to install the part and one month later the oven does not heat beyond about 100 degrees. To say we are disappointed is an understatement. We bought almost $10,000 worth of Bosch appliances during our remodel thinking we'd enjoy them for a lifetime. Now we're in the hell of attempting to match the specs for a cut out made for the Bosch but not shipping for a Bosch for fear that the same thing would happen.

This oven has intuitive controls and all the features I could want, except an interior camera for remote viewing. (That's not really essential.). The only complaint I have is that the vent is at the top of the door. So every time I open the door to check on doneness or to remove a pan, hot air is blown into my face.

This is a good quality oven that performs well. I like the app control. It was physically larger than the oven it replaced so a bit tricky to install. It heats a bit slowly and I would have wanted a brighter display. Overall happy with the purchase.

Great oven but there are several ergonomic things that could be better. 1) the display is dim and hard to read; 2) the control buttons are also hard to read (backlighting would be a positive improvement); 3) Proof temperature at 100 degrees is high for most bread makers as 75-85 is about max for most receipies. Unfortunately I am not aware of this being adjustable. WiFi is nice, but not necessary.

This is my first Bosch oven but I researched heavily into ovens when renovating our home. Though I always prefer some of the old school "dumb" ovens, I was really impressed at the level of control that the Bosch app and the oven allows for. The nuances between the modes really does make a difference in cooking. I love the proof function as well, since it also allows me to use it as a fermentation chamber when making lactofermented foods as well. Overall a fantastic oven and I do not regret getting it

Oven was installed brand new in June. Following the recipe, we started our Thanksgiving turkey at 425 degrees F. After about 20 minutes, the smoking was too much, so we turned it down to a more reasonable temperature. The turkey turned out perfect (we have cooked a few - this was just a bad recipe). However, the oven was a mess. So, we did the self-clean cycle but unfortunately accidentally stopped it after 1.5 hours (was trying to turn on the light but hit Off instead). So, the next day, we re-ran the self-clean cycle for 2.5 hours. Everything is clean except for the door - it appears to have grease *BETWEEN* the door glass panes. Bosch customer "service" basically told me that they won't help. And just to get someone to look at it will be a minimum $185 charge. Is it expected for grease to make its way between the panes of glass? Is that normal? Just very disappointed in Bosch's response. They got their sale. Now, we're on our own.

Love our new oven. Heats fast and we've noticed very even baking. We arent using our air fryer as much anymore since getting the new oven with air fry. Initially we left all the slideout racks in, but have since removed all but two so there is more hand space to grab stuff out of the oven.

This is the 1st Bosch Oven I've owned and I will never own another brand. This is an excellent oven with excellent tech and cooking.
From Bread, to roasts, to veggies and pizza this oven cooks more evenly than any other. The cook times are also decreased, so you have to keep an eye on them.
I love the tech of this oven as well. You can start from the store so its ready when you arrive home. There really isn't much you can't do with this oven.

Purchased my oven from Lowes and had Lowe's install. Lowe's did a great job and installation went smoothly. Once connected I was able to quickly connect my oven to wifi using the app. There were several buttons eliminated from the last Bosch model I had, and the ease of using the new Bosch oven was simplified. It heats quickly and cooks evenly. Great oven and I would recommend.

I love my new Bosch 800 Single Wall Oven. I am finally able to bake foods with confidence, knowing the food will be cooked evenly and to perfetion. The fast preheat is fantastic and broiler is the BEST I have ever had. I haven't had a chance to try many of the features but will do so soon.

The oven replaced an 18 year old range which worked well until it didn't. Bosch has a good reputation and reviews of this range had been very good. All functions are clean an easy to execute. My only critique is that the convection fan is louder than our other range.

This is my first wall over (always used a range with burners on top). Love the fast pre-heating, makes crispy pizza. Haven't used the air fry yet but so looking forward. Loved the trays that pull out. Don't hesitate to try this oven! Can't give it a five yet because I haven't used all the functions. Can say that the app is super fun to pre-heat remotely!

Chose the 800 series for it's WIFI capability, yet to be included in the Benchmark model. Cannot maintain a connection (similar to my Bosch fridge) and offers little to no functionality. You would think that it could moitor the probe temp, but no. Really??? Very disappointed.

I had a 13 yo Jenn-Air wall oven prior. The display panel was much brighter and easier to use. I really dislike that the oven is turned off when the timer goes off.
In addition, the oven blows the hot air directly into the room, which makes it very warm and HOT during warmer weather.

This is a great oven with accurate temperature control. I like the bread proofing mode as well as the multi rack convection. My noly complaint is that the stainless control buttons are hard to read. a back light would be great of contrasting letters.
