They don't even acknowledge the fault and are not ready to replace the unit as I paid for a fully functioning unit and not with a manufacturing defect. Don't buy this scam unit. Functionally, the range is great. That said, it's extremely difficult to care for the stove top. The surface scratches easily - so easily that when trying to remove the burner grate five minutes after installation, we scratched the top/front.

Dangerous Manufacturing Defect! Safety Hazard

I recently purchased a brand-new GE gas double oven range, and after just a few uses, it began leaking gas and filling my home with dangerous levels of carbon monoxide. I called GE, and their own technician confirmed the unit has a major manufacturing defect involving improperly cut valves from the factory. Despite this being a severe life-safety issue and a massive fire hazard to my family, GE refuses to replace the appliance. Instead, they want to repair a fundamentally broken unit. I paid a premium price for a brand-new, reliable appliance, not a refurbished or heavily repaired safety hazard. I completely lost trust in GE products and their customer service. Buyers beware! Gave one star as it was not letting me Submit w/o choosing otherwise zero star.

I started using my new range the day it was delivered and installed. I love it. It has so many features that my old stove did not have. The controls are easy to use. The convection oven works perfectly and reduces the time my foods need to cook. The burners are all different sizes, so I can choose one based on the size pot/pan I am using. The cast iron griddle is awesome. I've already used it for grilled cheese sandwiches and breakfast sausage. I find something new that I like about it each time I use it. The oven capacity is perfect for a large turkey or two pizzas on the same rack. I have not used the cleaning feature yet, but I am sure that it will be just as reliable as all of the other features of this range.

Purchased this oven in 2022. I have had to have repair out three times due To the ovens failing to heat. It is an ongoing problem that appliances repair seems constantly stump for the solutions. For the price it is just not worth it.

One month in we are still having some trouble getting the oven temps accurate but it seems good. The broiler is not as hot as I would like. The design is just fine. Boxy, not beautiful. The top oven is a bit smaller than our last GE dual oven - I made a banana bread and when the batter rose it stuck to the top burners. I do not understand the value of the wifi or all the digital panel parts. Seems destined to break down, as our last GE digital panel did. Why does the light have such a large knob?

We™€™ve had ours for about 3 months and we are extremely happy with the way it works and how it looks in our kitchen. The ovens heat quickly and evenly. The stovetop offers a range of burner sizes and flame/temp control. I do wish there was a low low simmer- it puts out so many BTUs that even the lowest simmer can be tricky. But we are very pleased. No issues.

The air fryer function was exciting, but so far (limited use, admittedly) it doesn't really seem any different than convection backing. That's the only "complaint" and it's not really much of one because I have a separate air fryer.

Great range, overall very happy with both style and function. The double ovens in particular are fantastic - love the self cleaning feature, and they work great. Range burners and feature are all excellent, everything looks great and works nice. My only complaint is that the stainless steel scratches easily, already some not-so-minor nicks just a couple months in. Also, I™€™m underwhelmed with the air frying feature ™€“ that™€™s something we were excited about, but doesn™€™t seem to be much more than a standard oven.

Love our new GE Profile gas range with double oven. Have had about 3 weeks now and have used both ovens a few times. A great option when cooking for holidays. I have a turkey going now with the meat probe using convection roast. The burners are very versatile and I have found the griddle option to be very convenient. One of the burners seems a little finicky to light but that may resolve with more use.

So far pretty good..I mostly love the stove.. Fits perfectly where old stove was.. Having two ovens is great, and I love having the air fryer in the oven though I wish it was in the top oven.. The fact that there are 2 cancel buttons (1 for the top oven and 1 for the bottom oven) can be problematic if you aren™€™t used to it. I think one cancel button that would automatically cancel which ever oven is in use when only one is on, or gives you a menus to cancel top, bottom, or both would be a better button function and you could potentially use that second cancel button for another option.

I've only had this in use for about 2 weeks now, but I am crazy about this range! I *LOVE* the double oven, and we're also new to air frying so we tried that last night (didn't go great, but I think that's on us). The burners are amazing, the controls are really great - separate controls for top and bottom ovens and a kitchen timer too... and it's just awesome. My only reason for not rating a 5 is because stainless steel is soft and scratches easily - drives me nuts. You'd think with that being all the rage (you can hardly find appliances that aren't some variation of stainless steel, and forget just plain white!), they'd figure out how to make it a little more scratch and dent resistant. :( Overall, thrilled!

This is the first time I've owned a GE appliance, and so far I'm pleased. It looks great, although the stainless steel finish scratches more easily than I expected. Already! The electronic controls are nice and bright, and after some awkward mis-starts have become more user friendly. Burner versatility is great. It fits perfectly in the space in our kitchen. The only issue I have with that is the void against the wall at the back. There was an odd, leftover vented aluminum strip after the range was installed, and it just fits along the back, balancing on the countertop at the back, that makes it look more finished. The ovens will probably need to be calibrated - both did on this one. Over all I love this range though. It's sleek looking, it was a good price and the delivery from Costco Direct was top shelf efficient. And it has been turning out some pretty good food. I love, love, love having two ovens that can be used at different temps at the same time!

Bought the stove on the basis of GE Profile quality over the years. One week of use and the mainboard or display panel failed. I have no oven controls. Called GE to begin the arduous warranty repair process I keep reading about. Third-party repair company sent a tech four days later, everyone is busy. Tech shows up and confirms the issues, but needs approval from GE to order replacement parts. GE approves parts replacement and it will take 5 days to reach 3rd party repair company. Love the stove top and the double oven! The stove top controls and cooking is excellent! So much more temperature control than my previous stove! The convection oven is outstanding! Just made some wonderful cookies and can't wait to bake a cake!

I researched for months prior to choosing this model and I™€™m so happy with my choice! The burners heat quickly, adjust precisely, pans sit evenly and it works so intuitively. It™€™s so easy to figure out. I™€™ve used all the burners, boiling water incredibly fast with the power burner and searing meat on the middle grate at the same time. The double oven is a dream. I air fried 4 pounds of chicken wings while my sides were in the top oven at a different temp. This slid right into the existing space and fits perfectly but the look immediately elevated my kitchen. The stainless steel resists fingerprints and smudges and the top is easy to clean.

The first one I ordered would quit preheating and shutdown and restart. Took a week or more for a tech to come look at it, then it took 3 weeks for him to come back and try and fix it. The parts he ordered didn™€™t fix it and then my wouldn™€™t work at all. They called me the next week to order a new one. Said I™€™d receive it in 7-10 days. A week later they called to set up delivery. The oven got delivered to the wrong address! Instead of calling me to get the correct address they returned it to the warehouse and never did call me to let me know it wouldn™€™t be delivered. Spent a whole afternoon waiting for a delivery. I spent the following week trying to figure out where the oven went. They finally told me that it would have to be reordered since it was returned to the warehouse. Guess what?! Another 7-10 day wait for delivery. What a mess! I complained to GE and asked for compensation and all they offered was a $75 gift card. I understand a quality escape but almost 4 months to get resolved is a little ridiculous. It ended up being almost 4 months before I got a working range and this one was delivered with a scratch in the stainless on the stove top.

I've only ever had gas ranges and am used to the quick instant heat, but on this one it's hotter faster. Things seem to cook much quicker and I keep turning the burners down. I love the multi strength burners that can actually add or delete the second row of burners. The controls are easy to follow and simple to understand. I also love the air fryer oven. Ive used it more times than I've used the actual oven! It's great. My only complaint is that I'm old school and do not want to print a giant users guide, but I would like to actually have that book in my hand for reference. I would have appreciated an actual users guide. I'm finding that it's taking me forever to find anything when i have a specific question and additionally I am finding features I didn't even know I had! Of course I'll remember I've got the feature, forget what it's called and not be able to find it when I need to use it. Please charge 5.00 more and provide a manual!

Our last GE Profile Oven was still going strong after 18 years, but decided to replace it when we remodeled our kitchen. We couldn™€™t be happier with this design. The range burners and grates are excellent. We use the double-sided griddle and grill all the time ™€¦ unlike others this one actually works well! Having a double oven is new for us. It™€™s great for dinner parties and being able to control both via the app is game changing. We paired this with the 36™€ GE Range Hood and together they are simply magical. Having the range hood fan and light turn on and off automatically when using the range is something I never thought I needed, but now couldn™€™t live without. It™€™s so stressful choosing out appliances. I™€™m so happy I choose these and would recommend them to anyone looking for quality, functionality and value.

Bought this model to replace one like it, except it was a Cafe model because I liked the appearance, double oven, and center griddle feature. After 13 years the push button control panel died, and the repairman said it would be about $600. to repair it, and they recommended I get a new one as that was about their life span, and something else would break soon. Too bad they're not made to last. I got it at Costco for about $300 less than major retailers, delivery was smooth and efficient. However the center oval burner has a nick or scratch on the paint where it is missing on the edge, about the size of a kernal of corn. That part shows the steel. I'm going to try the warranty department as Costco said they would replace it. Wish me luck.

Looks beautiful but double check features

Bought this brand new through Costco with installation included. Once it was delivered the tech could not install it. We have propane and it was sold as is for natural gas. The tech would not convert so has to hire out source and had to pay out of pocket. 3 months later had to make a warranty claim shortly after purchase as the ovens would make a loud click on and off noise. Bought it in February and the tech just finished working on it (now July). Used the stove top today and cooked hot on the lowest temperature. Ovens are still inconsistent. Looks beautiful but would have not stuck with this. Too bad it took so long for Costco to tell me they couldn™€™t install it and then having to outsource installation it passed the return window or else I would have returned it.

GE range mostly good but needs some re-design.

I have found it almost impossible to find some thing to put between the range the counter top. The GE one is far too thick, as are all others I've tried. My previous range had a lip on it which covered that gap. Such a much better idea. I find the broiler isn't nearly hop enough based on the advice in the user manual. It's also pretty low down to be handling very hot things.

It™€™s okay. Great cooktop, nice even gas flow on all burners. I haven™€™t used the griddle yet, so no review on it. I really wish the roasting and broiling aspect was in the upper oven. It™€™s a pain in the back to reach down to the floor to grab extra hot items out of the lower oven. The top oven only bakes, that™€™s a bit of a bummer. It™€™s a nice looking stove, but looks aren™€™t everything.
